Koodisto perustuu INSPIREn Condition Of Construction -koodistoon. Koodiston yleispiirteisyys mahdollistaa laajan hyödynnettävyyden rakennuksilla sekä mahdollisesti myös muilla kohteilla. Lisäksi mahdollistuu EU-tason yhteentoimivuus.
